One of my best builds on an amazing blank. Crisp, clean, and a very intuitive action. Great fighting power and a strong butt section to go the distance but a sensitive tip for protecting light tippet. Root Beer-colored primary wraps with canary yellow and golden accents highlight the exceptional built quality of a Steffen Bros rod blank.
The micarta reel seat insert is my favorite feature of this rod and is a definite conversation starter. A perfect match to the brown canvas that Ross Reels uses for their reel handles.
